Mike Barker

Mike brings with him a determination, a drive and enthusiasm to help spread awareness and champion the need for more funding for a cure for Usher syndrome.

Within the Civil Service Mike is actively involved in several inclusive and diversity networks including the Civil Service Sports Council and the Disability Engagement Network.

Mike has strong ties to the local and national communications teams, the Charity Commission, and the Sports and Social Network. Through these channels, as well as through his wide-ranging social and professional connections working in the service and public sectors.

Mike is spreading awareness and knowledge about Cure Usher and about Usher syndrome with a fresh energy and outlook.
