Emma works as an Audiologist and lives with Usher Syndrome herself, offering an emphatic approach when working in clinic.

Wearing hearing aids herself, Emma knows first hand what it’s like having a combined hearing and sight loss and overcoming communication difficulties.

Emma has previously worked for the NHS and now works in private practice, she has a good understanding of audiological processes and allows for up-to-date clinical knowledge on the best hearing aids available on the market.

Emma is passionate about raising awareness of Usher syndrome in the healthcare community and ensuring Healthcare Professionals know how to better help people who live with Usher syndrome.
