Nearly five years after receiving his cochlear implants the family of 7-year old Ashton Andrews were devastated to learn recently that Ashton has Usher syndrome which is the leading genetic cause of deafblindness.
Moved to action to help try and find a cure for Ashton, they are holding a fundraiser in March with funds from this event to be split between CUREUsher and Great Ormond Street Hospital. We are pleased to share the details of the event and advise that anyone is welcome to attend.
Event Title: Ashton’s 5th Anniversary of Hearing Fundraiser
Event details: Face paintings, live music, cake sale, bouncy castle, auction, raffle and plenty more.
Location: New Odds, Margate, England
Date & Time: Saturday 14th March from 3pm
